Father's Day, a Dani, Tori, and Tommy Guest Post.

Hey, Tori, I've been thinking.  Isn't Father's Day coming up?  Are we supposed to be doing something for Daddy? (Tommy)
Tommy, can't you see I'm busy playing on Mommy's tablet?  Leave me alone.  (Tori)
Oh, wait!  Tommy, you're right!  Father's Day is coming up. What should we do?
I dunno, Tori, let's ask Dani.  She knows everything.
DANI, DANI WE NEED YOUR HELP!
DEEDEE DEEDEE HEP HEP!
What do you guys want? (Dani)
Dani, it's almost Father's Day, what are we going to do???
Deede, faga day, doooo?
Don't worry guys, I've got it under control.

I'm totally online right now ordering Daddy some really cool stuff, and getting us Father's Day shirts to wear.  Tori, go in the kitchen and get me Mommy's wallet.
OK Dani.  What are we getting Daddy?
What do you think we should get Daddy?
Let's get him some coloring books!  And some cookies.
Coookie!  Cookie!
GUYS!  We have to think about Daddy!  He's super fun, and he doesn't want coloring books!  Remember when we climbed in his shirt and we were the three headed Daddy monster?  Maybe we should get him a new shirt?
Daaaddy!  Kitty!  Funny!
Hmmm, you're right, Dani.  I will sit here and think about it.  What can you buy for the best Daddy in the whole wide world?  He gives the best hugs.  Can we give him hugs?  He likes brownies, can we make him brownies?
Cooookies!
Now you're thinking, Tori!  We can bake him brownies.  Let me get Mommy to help.  I think we should color him some pictures too.
Crayons!  Paper!  (puts crayon in mouth)
Okay Dani, I'm going to draw a picture for Daddy.

Daddy is good at pushing us on swings.  I will draw the playground.
Playground!  Outside! (puts on shoes)
Daddy always takes us outside.  Remember when Tommy helped him mow the lawn?

When I think about Daddy, I am happy.  He is big, and brown, and tall.  He gives me kisses, and he taught me how to snap my fingers.  He plays the Beatles for me, and he gives the best hugs!

Daddy always reads books with me.  And he makes the best pancakes.  I love pancakes.
Pancakes!  Pancakes!

Wes,
Dani, Tori and I join Tommy in raising our sippy cups to you, this Father's Day.

I couldn't have asked for a better husband or father.  You are the foundation of this family; the solid base from which we all grow, together, learning, loving, and striving to make you proud of us, and hoping that you always know how much we truly adore you.

Six months, a Tommy guest post.

Hi, it's Tommy! I had my six month doctor's visit today.
I'm growing!
I don't know if mommy has told you, but I'm kind of a super baby. Did you know that I crawled way before Dani and Tori did? (**editorial note from mommy: But Tommy, you still lag behind your sisters in the critical sleeping through the night category.)
I'm also bigger than they were at their six month doctor's visit! I'm 28 inches long and I weigh 19 pounds and 12 ounces. Dani was only 26.5 inches long and 15 pounds 2 ounces and Tori was 26.5 inches and 17.5 ounces at six months. So, that means that I'm the biggest. Don't tell Dani and Tori but I think they like me best, too.
The doctor told daddy I'm in the 90th percentile for everything. I'm already getting straight A's and I'm not even in school yet. Cool, huh?

Oops, a Tommy guest post.

Hey, it's me, Tommy. I snuck on the computer so I can tell you about mommy's big scare this weekend. It started out simply enough...

....we were all in the playroom, me, mommy, Dani, and Tori. Daddy was upstairs in the shower. We had grandma and grandpa on speaker phone and Dani was talking a lot! Well, I saw this neat Hello Kitty card under the rug, and, when no one was looking I decided to taste it. It was pretty yummy.

But then something happened. I couldn't breathe. I tried to cough, but it didn't work. Mommy heard me and scooped me up into the right position and tapped in between my shoulder blades, and ran me upstairs to daddy. She was yelling for him while she ran, and I've never seen her move so fast. Whatever she did worked, because when she opened the shower door, daddy told her I was breathing and okay. She layed me down on her bed and I opened up my mouth so she could take the card out. And I was just fine. Mommy brought me downstairs and just held me and cried for a while. She sure seemed sad, and I couldn't figure out why. I was just fine. I'm pretty tough you know.
So, I talked to Dani and Tori about cheering mommy up; they agreed it was a good idea. We would start right after lunch. All that excitement made me hungry! Dani and Tori got booster chairs this weekend so they get to sit right at the table instead of in a high chair like me--they are so BIG! This means that now I have the high chair all to myself, which is good, because I like to eat. A LOT. And Tori always used to leave sticky stuff in it anyway. So, back to my story. First, they decided to sit right at the table and behave, mommy always likes it when we are good. Tori even used a fork, instead of her hands, so you can see we were really trying!
Then, we decided that some laughs were in order. We decided to be silly to cheer mommy up. Dani broke out the old 'stache. That's always good for a laugh or two.
And Tori, she's always super silly. She dressed up like a flower and just danced around until mommy was happy again! Then it was time for my nap. I like naps, almost as much as I like eating. Hmmm, I'm getting hungry, so I'm going to go fuss a little so mommy fixes me a bottle. Bye bye!

They call me Little Dude, a Tommy guest post.

Hi! Allow me to introduce myself. I'm the latest and greatest addition to the crib. I'm Tommy, but you can call me Little Dude, like mommy does, if you want. I kinda like it. I haven't been around too long, but I'm digging all the attention I get. My big sister Tori gives me kisses, like, 1,000 times per day. And lots of people come over to visit me.
My Grandma and Grandpa were just here. I'm named after my Grandpa. He's pretty cool, and he says he will take me for a motorcycle ride one of these days. When I can talk, I'm going to tell him I need a leather jacket. All the cool babies are wearing them.
My Grandma is super fun too. She spent a lot of time with my big sisters. They got to ride bikes and do lots of stuff that looked so fun. I can't wait until I'm a big kid!
Here's another picture of Grandma with my big sisters Dani and Tori. They didn't sit still for long.
My Grandpa was a really good snuggler. I like to sleep alot. He had a good belly to sleep on. He likes to sleep too. I think I heard him snoring sometimes when I was sleeping on him.
There was so much to do when Grandma and Grandpa were here! So many people came over to the house to see us. It was really tiring to meet so many people! I needed a nap after they went to the airport. For old folks, they really keep a baby on his toes!
Well, this is Little Dude, signing off. Hope you liked my first guest post. Come visit me!
