Summertime! When it's hot, the girls love their little pool! Mommy's looking forward to the bigger pool which is on its way, but for now, I squeeze into the baby pool too!
Tori (aka Chompers) puts EVERYTHING in her mouth.
Dani likes to try to catch the sprinkler "raindrops".
We had to drag them back inside. Dani was literally shivering, but insisted that she wasn't cold and wanted to stay outside!
For Father's Day weekend, we took a day trip to New London, CT to visit Big Man's family. His mom was in from Chicago, and Tori finally got to meet her!
For Father's Day, we let daddy sleep in. When he woke up, Dani and I went out to get him breakfast, after he opened his presents, and the girls modeled their Father's Day shirts, of course!
I think Big Man got a tear in his eye, when Dani dressed up as his favorite superhero, Thor!Happy Father's Day to the best husband and father I could ever have dreamed of.
It's not easy, living here in our little box shantytown. Cardboard's really not too great in the elements. Too hot, too cold, and not so watertight, especially when mommy cuts holes in the top.
We're always trying to spruce up the place, but all we have is crayons and duct tape. But it's ours, and we love it.
We entertain ourselves.
And we share, even though we ain't got much; it helps us through those lean times in our little shantytown.
